SOURCE: Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher wiring diagram

if unavailable on line, contact mfg's parts and you should be able to order it.
also, they likely do not make the unit. the sears may be able to tell you who made it. that company would be able to get you a diagram. just make some phone calls.

SOURCE: Kenmore ultra wash quiet guard 3 dishwasher problem

call sears, 1-800-4MY-HOME. They have a trouble-shooting department that will get rid of this problem. It is caused by water temperature being wrong at the start of the cycle.... blah, blah, blah. The representative will tell you to push a certain set of buttons in a certain order and that unlocks the dishwasher.

Sorry I don't know the sequence

SOURCE: Kenmore ultra wash III dishwasher

Well, the water is clean. The only thing I can think of is that the pump is just not doing its job. The only way to know is put a meter or a flow meter on the pump but heck, I can buy a new dishwasher for under $300 so I think I will just give up. Hate to do it but it is not worth the time and effort anymore. I really appreciate your involvement in my problem and I hope I have not over loaded you with my questions. New dishwasher, here I come........ bah humbug. Mine was only 13 years old, they just do not make them like they use to.

SOURCE: kenmore dishwasher has stopped draining.

remove the kick panel below the door, place a pan, etc under where the drain hose connects to the drain extension tube, and slide the clamp back some so you can slide the hose off of the extension tube (white plastic tube) and drain any excess fluid into the aforementioned pan, etc., then unscrew the extension tube and check for plugs, or restrictions.
the sump may also be pluged beneath the strainer assembly, and that requires removing the lower spray arm, the water tube that runs up the inside back of the unit, and the upper parts of the assembly below them to access the drain/pump sump area.
last but not least the impeller is jamed and might be able to be freed by removing whatever has lodged within there..
ya never know...
best of luck,

SOURCE: kenmore ultra wash does not spray

Hi.

It is possible that the pump hose , or the impeller in the pump assembly is clogged or faulty, then then the machine fills, water does not recirculate, and then the machine stops without spraying because of the pump malfunction.
Access the pump hose and check it. The next step will be disassemblying the pump completely
If there is no blockage, test and eventually replace the pump.
A first test on the pump is done by energizing it directly.

If the pump is spraying with regular pressure, then check the arms attachment, if there is a big leak in there , then the machine will not spray.

If water is getting inside the machine, then the inlet valve is opening. However if the machine is underfilling, then there will be poor recirculation and the arms may not spray.
Test the water level switch. If this is a float switch, the switch can be tested jumping its contact and operating the machine with door switch tripped to prevent overfilling. This test must be done by a trained person.

Also ensure that the problem is not the timer not advancing to the spraying part of the cycle. In that case the problem is not the timer itself, but the machine is not meeting a condition needed for cycle advancement. Usually the problem is temperature related, look also for long filling.

The cleaning button flashes, not able to reset

Please remove the power plug and keep aside for a while as the main control panel buttons are pressed to remove any residual voltage on the main board / processor.
If this wont reset then check the input sections, the door switches, the drain filters, the drain pump. Remove, clean and reset.
If not there are faults in the mother board.

Our dishwasher isn't draining

Hi
Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller & clean the chopper assembly. Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

I have a Kenmore Ultra Wash model 665 1373 and it isn't getting totally clean on the top rack - glasses and cups are almost clean but bowls etc are not, any ideas?

Check the shaft of the impeller, the plastic shaft might be broken, it was the problem with mine. To get to the impeller you have to remove the filter at the base of the diswasher and after you will see the screw that hold the impeller assembly in place, unscrew it and you will see right away if it is broken, Good luck

My kenmore ultra wash plus is not draining

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Dishwasher not draining properly or not draining at all issues can arise due to different reasons. Usually, these issues are related to kinked hoses, knocked out disposer unit (if connected with the dishwasher drain hose) & clogged drain pump & filter.

Also note that dishwashers do not drain completely after a finished cycle and this is normal. Dishwashers are designed to leave some water in the unit to ensure that the heating element doesn’t overheat. If you suddenly begin to experience a large amount of water being retained in your dishwasher, you have a problem. Some of the most common reasons include that the drain hose isn’t working properly, the drain pump isn’t working correctly, or possibly there is a plumbing problem in your home’s drain lines.

First check whether the drain is not clogged or blocked and the line is not kinked. Check all the hoses for blockages & also clean the air gap. Has the disposer been replaced recently? If so, chances are the knockout is still in place. Simply remove the drain hose from the disposer, and knock out the plug. If the disposer has not been replaced, try removing the drain hose from the disposer and use a wet-dry vacuum (prepared for water, of course) to **** any water (and hopefully anything else) from the drain line. Then reconnect the hose, and test the unit. If you have checked the air gap and the drain hose and can’t locate the problem, then it is an issue with the drain pump of the dishwasher.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Fixerfailure, is the knock-out plug still inside if the garbage disposal inlet?

Stick a screwdriver in there to make sure.

spazmo1969, could be the rubber flapper is broken off in the pump discharge outlet.
