Question about Televison & Video
When playing CDs or DVDs I've burned myself, everything works fine, but when I try to play any pre-recorded DVDs, I get a picture, but no sound. I'm using a combi/integrated TV/DVD. Any ideas please?
Check the sound setup to TV. Refer its user manual for details. Check whether the audio format to the recorded disc do match with to that of TVs.

If cleaning did not fix it the optical pickup for that unit is damaged in some way---if the set has audio/video INPUT jacks on it just buy a DVD player and hook it to the set.
If no jacks you are finished--DVD portion of the unit if available costs more than the entire set.
