How To Fix Scratches With Toothpaste

One of the worst thing about buying a used video game is worrying about scratches? In fact sometimes the scratches are so bad that your system will no longer recognize the game. I've been in this similar situation and though I wasted my money. However then I tried the Toothpaste Trick and I have been recommending it ever since.

The first thing you want to do is get some white toothpaste. You can try the other types or brands but I recommend regular white toothpaste. From there apply toothpaste to where the scratches are on your disc. Use a toothbrush or cloth and apply the toothpaste to the scratches. Make sure to be careful and avoid getting toothpaste near the center of the disc.

Once the toothpaste is on those scratches wait about 5-10 minutes. Once time is up go back to your disc and begin removing the toothpaste. You can try using another cloth however the toothpaste might be sticky. Get another cloth and apply a very tiny amount of water onto it. Use the wet cloth again to remove the toothpaste and then use a dry cloth to make sure the disc is try. Wait another 5 minutes to complete the process.

After that, your all finished! Your disc should be working good as new again and it only took a few minutes. Finally as stated earlier, be careful doing this. Make sure that you've tried other options such as simply cleaning the disc with a cloth before trying this trick. It should be used as a last resort.

Do whitening toothpastes work?

Whitening toothpastes have mildly abrasive chemicals (not bleach) in them that remove surface teeth stains. Some of them have polishing agents that make teeth cleaner and whiter. Always check for the American Dental Association seal of approval. These toothpastes may help out, but they will not whiten your teeth nearly as much as other whitening methods.

No, you should put the same amount of toothpaste on all types of toothbrushes. You should put enough so you can clean your teeth well.
