Question about Computers & Internet

Once I have removed the screws from a Logitech K400 keyboard, how can I proceed to pull it apart in order to clean the inside of it? Logitech doesn't provide support for this and I hesitate to give my belief as to why at the risk of defaming the company publicly, despite the fact that I might be right.

In my experience you should be able to pop out the individual keys. Just make sure you can remember where they go back.

How do i connect wireless keyboard to my philips smart tv

If you have bluetooth on the tv then there should be an option to search for the device you wish to pair with in the settings on the tv. If you don't have that option then you would most likely need to purchase a bluetooth adapter to plug into your tv in order to connect your keyboard

How do I remove the keys on a Logitech MK700 keyboard to clean properly?

Try using simple flat-head screw driver. It should remove easily, but i don't think that'll solve your problem. You should pry apart your keyboard with screws and use damp cloth to clean the board, as well as rubber buttons. I'm not so certain about that, but you should try it. Dusan

That was good that it has work for about two years.
Maybe it requires for replacement.
Because if you had check all the ports of your system and doesn't work, its old enough. Or you might look for a technician to provide necessary solution.

Some of my letters are not working, how do i clean them inside and out? i have to use the on screen keyboard, to compose a post.

Cleaning the keyboard involves undoing all the retaining screws underneath the keyboard
I'd only attempt this if you have a model keyboard to work from as you will need to replace the keys in correct order afterwards, as and when one falls out

Once undone, the top and bottom halves will be ready to come apart, turn the keyboard over so that gravity holds the keys in position, remove the membrane carefully pull each key out in turn and wash it in soapy water, drying it thoroughly, replace and re-assemble

In point of fact the non working key issue is most likely down to a failed circuit anyway, so the job of cleaning the board may not work, you would be far better junking the keyboard and replacing it. I do mine every 12 months as the keyboard loses its action and replacing it is a cheap alternative to cleaning it

Hi I spilled coffe over msi cr360 it boots and works after i dreid it out however I have no keyboard and cannot enble fn keys e.g. wireless capability is there a work around or a manual to open and clean...

I will try to describe to you in simple terms here. There are a series of screws you will see on the bottom of the lap top. There screws have to be removed all of them before proceeding to clean the computer further. You will also see approx: 3 small screws under the battery when you remove the battery these screws are for the plate that goes across that has the power button etc. Remove those as well then remove the plate and the keyboard be sure to remember where all the screws go back to.
Now the keyboard may need to be replaced it sounds like it was a device that did not make it through the coffee spill and the drying process. There will also be one or two small screws that hold the keyboard down you will see those once you remove the power button plate. Remove those screws carefully take a small screw driver and push the holder for the keyboard cable clip to unlock the clip to remove the cable be very gentle when doing this removal. Observe how it came apart and this will be how to re-install a new keyboard.
You can get new keyboards at this is where I get them at. The process once you get into it and be extremely careful is not that difficult to do as you begin to expose the case pieces once apart. Do not use any wet fluids to clean the parts with. Dry clean only using a soft cloth and take your time.
Enjoy and have fun with it I find it rather interesting more so than a desktop PC repair. Thanks for using FixYa! Do not forget to vote for me John

There are actually two 'hidden' screws under the stickers on the back of the keyboard beside the battery compartment.
