Question about Gilmour Manufacturing Gil7900mm Oscillating Sprinkler With Metal Tube

Open Question

Gilmour oscillating sprinkler

When watering the sprinkler will go to one side and then up to the middle and back down, it will not go to both sides. I adjusted the stops all the way to both sides.

I have a gilmour 193spb polymer impulse sprinkler. It won't rotate anymore by itself. If I turn it to one side it will rotate to the other side, but wont trip to rotate back automatically.

Yea. Join the club. One day you and I both might purchase a better sprinkler. That way it might be worth the cost of a gallon of CLR (calcium/lime/rust remover) to soak them in which should fix the problem.
We could have/should have, but might never blow them out to remove all water remains before storing them for the winter.
:o).

I need assistance with properly setting the water flow, range, and rotation of the 993hps Gilmour Impulse sprinkler and the 967hzs Impulse Spike Base Sprinkler. There were not directions with the products...

For some simple instructions check out the "additional information" section at http://www.gilmour.com/Watering/Hose-End/Sprinklers/Large-Coverage/Metal-Head-Impulse-.aspx. If your sprinkler doesn't rotate, ensure that you haven't lowered the water pressure by opening another faucet elsewhere. My sprinkler doesn't rotate as freely as it did when it was new, but it probably just needs to be taken apart and cleaned and greased.

I have a John Deere travelling sprinkler model 4010 and one of the rear wheels broke and I was needing to know if these are sold seperate and if so what the part number is and where to buy it.

You can go to the following:

http://www.gilmour.com

There is an 800 number to call and you can also obtain a manual by selecting "Watering/hose end"
select "sprinklers" then "traveling". There you can download an Owners manual that has a parts breakdown in it
