Remove the back, to replace the battery

You need either a caseback knife or caseback wrench depending on whether it's a screwdown or snap-on back. If it's a snap-on, you'll also need a caseback presser to put it back on. Using the wrong tools can easily cause damage to your watch. If the watch is "water-resistant" be sure to replace the gasket as well or it will leak - you cannot reuse the gasket. You best bet to do this without having to buy tools, find the correct battery and gasket and risking scratching the watch is to let a watch shop or jeweler do it. Most places will charge about $8 to replace the battery and gasket. Sears sometimes charges only $4 so either way it's worth it. Even though I have the tools myself I usually bring my watches in and have it done since I'd have to go out and buy the battery & gasket anyway.

Hi. I leave in Wayne, PA 19087 and would like to get the battery of my Tssot T TOuch replace without altering the water resistance etc... Where can I go? Thanks for the answer, ROb

I've never owned one of these watches, but I would take it to a reputable Jeweler/Watch Repair Shop- they have the tools and access to any gaskets that might need replacement to ensure the watch's water-tight enclosure, but they can probably replace the battery without changing any parts, if they're in good shape. Hope this helps.

Watch hands not moving after battery change.

I suspect that there is a setting up procedure that needs to befollowed when the batteries have been replaced. (I had a similarproblem when I did this with my watch - although the hands were moving, they were incorrect!)

I was unable to find any instructions on their web site but if you go to their web site (/ or your own area web site for Seconda, at the top of the page you will see a store locator tab, click on this to find your local store and ask them for some instructions.

How do I get the old battery out?

Very risky to do by yourself without the proper tools. If you don't want to spend the 6 to 12 dollars to have the battery changed by a professional you will likely need to remove the strap by disconnecting the pins and then screw off, unscrew screws, or pop off the back with a sharp knife. You can now replace the battery and put back together.
