i have the same problem i have re-installed it now 6 times got firefox because netgear said it was my browser causing the problems but it is still intermitant.

msn home page loads then it sometimes comes up with errors when i try to go onto another site my modem and netgear router says it is connected etc and when i try to retrieve emails its the same sometimes they come through straight away or i have to click on send and receive a few times before they eventually come through

Check for firmware update for your adapter...since it usb..u need to put it in open..i believed the USB extension is included when u purchased that.

do not connect the USB adapter to a USB hub unless the HUB is powered so that it can performed better. Connect it directly to your PC slot

Are you sure the problem is between your USB adapter and your router? I've had similar issues with my connection but the problem was with the router itself. I've downloaded a new version of the router firmware and everything has been fine since the upgrade.

Do you have a good signal strength with the wireless USB adapter?
If not try moving the wireless router away from walls or metal objects and cordless phones, locate the wireless router higher.
See if there is a later driver for the wireless USB adapter, if so download and install it.
