Hello my name is Tim Ehrhart and I believe If this pc has a floppy drive (3.5 mm) and it is first on the boot sequence then it sounds like it is a bad floppy drive and needs either removed or replaced, try setting the dvd drive to be first in the boot sequence and save it so it is always first. also try testing your floppy drive. hope this helps you out

Hang up

Possibly due to corrupted graphics driver, or resolution changed to one unsupported by your laptop. Try restarting in safe mode by tapping F8 key on boot and select "safe mode" press enter then enter again. If it gets to windows in safe mode log on as an administrator and go to "display" in control panel, select adapter and change the driver by rolling back to a previous version or simply uninstall, which is what i did! Then restart the computer, it should now boot to windows but the resolution will be naff, get on the internet find the latest driver from your laptop manufacturer download this to the desktop and install from there. Worked for me, hope it does the same for you.
