Question about Sony KV-36XBR450 36" TV
The sound just went off while I was watching. It's not in SAP mode or anything wierd. The surround system works with a DVD just fine, but when you just watch the TV no sound comes thru TV or surround. What could the issue be and would this be a pricey fix?
Thanks for your help
Check for the cables to the cable box/reciever. What type of cable are you using for connection with the cable box(HDMI,RCA component cables)? Your tv is fine as it is working with the dvd player. The issue is with the cables connecting the cable box or from the cable company. Call them to get more information about this issue(maybe weak signals)
Please ask for further clarifications.
