How do I install recovery discs

Performing a system recovery is destructive process and will destroy your as-is system and data, and return it to as-shipped state.
Basically, to perform a system recovery from your recovery disk(s) [which is what I assume you mean by 'install recovery discs], insert the (first) disk in your CD or DVD tray, and turn your computer on; enter the BIOS set-up and select boot device = device in which you have put your recovery disk. Save the changes, and continue to boot. Subsequently, simply follow the instructions in the menu.

I recommend you follow your manufacturer's instructions for performing a system recovery. HP's are here
A more general outline is given here

Do not forget to update your drivers and other software after you have finished because what you have recovered to is the state that your computer was in when it left the factory, not the state it was in immediately before you performed the recovery. (barring any hardware changes that may have occurred of course)

How can i reset my whole computer so it can be like the first day i got it ?

Check for the presence of a recovery partition first, select Start > Computer. If the partition is present, an HP Recovery drive is listed in the Hard Disk Drives section of the window.
If your computer came with SSD (Solid State Drive) it may not have a recovery partition. If so, then you need to request for the recovery disc from HP. If ever you have the recovery partition on your computer then we can recover that back to it's factory state by following the steps below:
On some models, you can perform a recovery from the partition on the hard drive from either the Start button or f11.
To restore the system from the partition, follow these steps:
1. Access Recovery Manager in either of the following ways: >Select Start > All Programs > Recovery Manager > Recovery Manager. -or- > Restart the computer and press f11 while the "Press <F11> for recovery" message is displayed on the screen. Then select Recovery Manager.
Recovery Manager opens.
2. Click Advanced Options. 3. Click System recovery, and then click Next. 4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

I would like to completely reset my computer to the state I purchased it in and I do not have a recovery cd or anything like that

If you really want to reset your computer to the state it was in when you purchased it then you will need to get a hold of some recovery disks. I found a site that sells a number of recovery disks for various systems and got the link to the specific one for your model of computer They will send you specific instructions on how to use their recover disks.

How to factory restore my compaq presario f700 with no CD-ROM

It depends on which OS and software came with the computer and the state of the computer. (In all cases do not use the Microsoft System Restore. This will return a computer to the last known good state (revert to a prior version of the registry) but not to the factory installed state.)

To do a recovery without starting Windows:

Some Vista and Win7 machines came with HP Recovery Manager. Press F11 during bootup (BIOS prompt) then if the hard drive is accessible, the Recovery Manager will start. Follow the on-screen directions. (If you changed the OS from originally installed version or repartitioned the drive, this is not available.)

For all other OS and recovery software options, you will need an external (USB) optical drive. The preferred option is a R/W DVD drive to create the recovery media yourself. (HP will send you recovery discs for a fee if the machine is under warranty.)

If you can enter Windows, click Start

Recover or find pictures

As long as the xD card was not formatted it is possible to recover the images that were accidently erased, lost or corrupted. You can go to the following website link and download an image recovery software program that is free of charge.
You want to download a program called Zero Assumption Recovery. It is a very simple program to use and many people have had much success in recovering lost images.

Data recovery is a booming industry, and many appropriate services and software can be found by searching regional phone and business directories or the Internet for terms such as "image recovery" or "data recovery".

One key recovery function do not work in my idea center k210 and when i try to undate one key it states that no service partition found..i think it is because i have changed the c drive''s memory from 30...

You are absolutely correct! When you change the partitions size it can affect the recovery partition or if you switch out the hard drive it will also affect your recovery partition. When the recovery partition is considered nonusable the computer will respond exactly as you've stated.

Since your recovery partition is unavailable now you'll need to order recovery CD's from the manufacturer. Call IBM Toll free @ :1-800-426-7378 and ask them to transfer you to someone who can sell you recovery disks. Unfortunately almost every company charges for them and they run about 30 - 40 dollars.

Hope this helps!

Formatting and HP recovery

If the recovery partition is still on your pc and depeding which model you have which you did not specify. But lets give it a shot. Turn on the pc. The first screen should be the HP screen. On the bottom right hand corner of the screen should be an option stating, Press F10 or another F key for system recovery. Press that key. It will take you into a blue screen I believe to the recovery program. The screen will state that it will do a recovery of the operating system and other but will not destroy your data. You will see advanced. Click on that. It will now say it will perform a destructive recovery. continue with that it will repartition and format your drive and return the pc to the factory settings and install all software that was there original. or If you have the recovery cd set that came with the computer. Insert disk 1(recovery cd) it should be labeled and restart the computer If you have neither you will have to you can purchase the recovery cd's at hp's website. If this does not help please post a comment. Specify the model # of your pc and I would be able to help you better.
