I have a blodgett zephaire gl oven. unit kept buring up 24v transformer, was old bad centrifical switch in motor. I replaced motor with brand new one, unit still buring up 24v transformer.....why ?

A short somewhere causing it to overamp. Put a 3amp inline fuse on the secondary side (24v side) on the hot wire. This will save the transformer and blow the fuse not the transformer. The centrifugal switch prolly wasn't bad. So I would trace the wire coming off transformer and look for bare wire or loose wires. Anything that would cause a short

1998 dodge 1500 trans temp light and overdrive

when most people have the fluid changed in the transmission, the person doing so uses to much pressure to evacuate the old fluid, they blow the main seals, which causes a leak because they need to do it in a hurry!

Ambient air temp is readying high on my 2007 Ford F150, possible causes?

Usually it is the temp probe on the radiator support behind the grille.
When you pop the hood there are 2 probes there, 1 in the ambient air temp probe, the other is the front impact severity sensor. temp probe has the little probe sticking out of it. I have seen mixed results on replacing this, some it corrects the issues, others are still not happy after the replacement. I make the assumption ( bad thing some times ) that the ones that are unhappy are using an incorrect comparison temp sensor ( bank sign, etc ).

93 ford probe jerks when going into 2nd

Don't know if this will be of any help, but these cars have the same auto trans as the Mada 626s of the same age and they are a problematic transmission. They tend to blow up. Gerking could just mean it needs a service. ie: low fluid levels or 'worn out' fluid. It could also be an early sign of bigger problems.
We ended up selling our mazda because of the transmission. around $1800 to replace with reco but many people reporting reco trans failing within 2 yrs anyway.

Set temperature at 17 but is really only 12

There are 2 possabilities, 1) either the temp probe is out of spec. causing the control to switch off at the incorrect temp. or 2) The electronic board is faulty.if the biasing changes on the board so will the temp reading .Max cooling should be 16deg. celcius on an aircon. I suspect probe. Typically it sits on front rhs of evap. Lift front panel, remove filter./s to see.probe

Power loss

hi, remove spark plugs and check to see if the part of the plug that is ceramic is wet with oil as probes suffer cam cover gasket oil leakage into plug holes,This will cause rough running especially at low speed. If any plugs are oily then you need to change cam cover gasget or gasgets if its a 24v.
Not a bad job to do,Hope this is helpful,All the best. Phil
