Question about Olivetti Office Equipment & Supplies
Hi guys can anyone help my typewriter wont type a capital e but it will type in lower case and every other key works fine in both capital and lower case thanks
Probably your print wheel has a bent or broken B spoke. If it is bent you can probably straighten it if it's broken it needs replaced.

I wish I could see the unit. Something is blocking the lift assembly. Something simple I am sure. Lift it and lay it on it's back and look for a lever or spring that may be out of place. Maybe something dropped inside and is jamming it. Big paper clips or if you have a small child around. Little toys, pencils etc. Good luck.

You did not specify if it was a manual or electric or the model, so assuming it is a standard manual or electric machine, push down on the shift key and hold it, then type your letter or letters. If you are typing everything in caps, press the shift lock key.
