When I try to graph it says argument error

Your function is not correctly defined. If graph is function y=f(x), variable must be x; if graph is polar, variable must be theta, and if graph is parametric, variable must be t. This does not cover all possible cases. Check the graph type and the definition of the function.

What is undefined string

I suspect you got this error during the compilation or execution of a program. If that is not the case, disregard what I am rambling on about .
A string is a set of printing characters (letters, numbers, punctuation signs). In some programming languages a string variable can be defined. Once you define a variable as a string, you can store a string in it.
Depending on the language the string must be enclosed between quotation marks or some other separators. As for other variables, string variables have to be defined before they can be called.
Go to the location where the error occurred and check your inputs, arguments you feed to functions, etc.

Invalid implied multiply

An implied multiplication happens when you put two names of variables one after the other without actually entering the multiplication sign (* or cross). The calculator is interpreting this as a multiplication and is telling you it is wrong to do so. I suspect this can happen if you use a variable name made up of two or more letters without first defining the variable. If you use a variable called ax or xa without defining it before it is called, the calculator interprets that as variable a times variable x.

You referenced a variable that is not currently defined. For example, you referenced a stat variable when there is no current calculation because a list has been edited, or you referenced a variable when the variable is not valid for the current calculation, such as a after Med-Med.

Problems changing variables on windows 7 for Java jdk1.7.0. I have no path variable any ideas thankyou

If your trying to add javac.exe to your path variable do the following
  • Right Click Computer
  • Select Properties
  • On the left select Advanced System Settings
  • Select Environment Variables
  • Under System Variables scroll down to Path
  • Append the path and exe to the Path variable
If memory serves javac.exe is located in C:\Windows\System32 so append ;C:\Windows\System32\javac.exe

I am trying to graph any possible equation and I get undefiend varialbe for any kind of equation as simple as x=7. It will always show as undefiend varialbe for any equation. I don't know why it does this.

Undefined variable error message displays when you evaluate a user-defined
function or run a user-defined program that references a local variable that is not
initialized (assigned a value). You have to type LineVert 7 and then graph function x=7. See captured image

I cannot plot graph in my Ti 89 graphing calculator

That means one (or more) of the variables you have in your function is not defined. Check to make sure you didn't misspell any variable name. Also, check to make sure you didn't run two variable names together. "ab" is the variable ab, not a times b.

Variables not appearing in differentiation and integration

Probably a value stored in the "x" variable (guessing x=1)
try the following, type or look for the "Define" function: Define X=X and see what happens, also try Cleaning the variables "F6>cleanup, etc" as a last resource do factory reset, but first archive your important files (not very recomended as some of them may contain the variable's value and just not solve this)
