Remote does not work....Replaced with a new remote however still no joy. Checked remote and is functioning correctly ....unit can be turned on and off manually...does this mean the sensor on the wall unit needs replacing?

Panasonic AC Model CS-A28BKP5 remote not working, I have tested the remote and it works fine. I have also tried a second brand new remote control with the same result. The AC otherwise turns on ok manually.

It sounds like the batteries leaked and oxidized the terminals. If you cannot get them clean enough then I would suggest getting a new reomote from the manafacturer.

There is a receptor on the below the front pannel but the problem could be :
1.Low battery charge in the remote control.
2.The signal cable that connects the receptor to the card(pc board) could be loose/disconnected
3.Try one receptor from a working unit
4.Try a remote control from a working unit

Remote control functioning unit is functioning, but remote control is not activating unit, could you please help. Part number is 9365005019.fujitsu room split air coditioner

Hi Russell Webe, just a guess, but sounds as though the remote receiver board is faulty, however you might try new batteries in the remote first,it may help. failing that it is time to call the serviceman. Also try turning the power off to the Ac unit for about 5 minutes and then back on again. This will reset the electronics and again may solve your problem regards. col www.digitalcontrols.com.au

I have changed the batteries but the remote does not work. We can turn the unit on mamually at the unit but can't change temperature or any other function

Manual button in a/c unit is just for emergency. You should operate only by remote. Get new remote and operate. Helpful?

Panasonic AC Model CS-A28BKP5 remote not working. Remote does not work....Replaced with a new remote however still no joy. Checked remote and is functioning correctly ....unit can be turned on and off...

If receiving signal in unit and calling signal in remote should be functioned properly. If any one of these, defective you can't operate by remote.
In your case, it's receiving signal in PCB is weak or defective. You can repair/replace only that portion. Call repairman to arrange for it. Thanks. Helpful?
