Question about Acer Aspire 5315 Notebook
Most Acer computers have a built-in system restore partition that will restore the computer to factory settings. At startup, press the F10 key and you will be directed to the system restore menu. Follow the instructions there to restore your system.
CAUTION: This will format your hard drive and you will lose all of your data. Back up anything that you want saved from your hard drive BEFORE you begin this process.

you will need your Acer recovery disk
insert into CDROM tray
Restart the Acer Aspire. When Windows boots up, select the username you want to reset the password for and press "Enter."
