Hammond Organ T-262. Leslie fast motor switch (Tremulant) not working. Wiring diagram anyone? Thanks

It may not be the switch, but rather that the motors need adjusting. If the slow motor is too tight against the rubber wheel on the fast motor, it may not disengage the slow motor when switched, thereby dragging down the fast motor.

Where can I have a Hammond electric organ repaired

That would depend on where you're located and what model you have. Most Hammond organs are too large to take to a repair shop so generally the repairman comes to you. It will be helpful in setting up the appointment if you have the model number and can discribe exactly what's happening. in other words, telling them "it doesn't work" will make it more difficult for him to schedule you than if he has an idea of the specific problem and can then budget his time better. To locace a repairman close to you, call the best organ seller in your area or go to the MITA website. Here's the link-

Intermittent pitch variations

I'm assuming you have a Hammond organ, and also that it's individual notes rather than the whole generator. it sounds like the individual tonewheels are dragging, normally due to oil not getting to the place it needs to go. The thread system may have been damaged, or there may have been something other than Hammond oil used at some time in it's life, which can lead to wax building up on the threads and blocking oil flow. If it's the whole generator it's the same problem but on the main bearings. It doesn't take much drag to make an audible difference. At any rate, I'd suggest getting a in-person diagnosis from your local Hammond repairman.

What type oil and how much should be placed in each cup when oiling?

It is anybody's guess as to what type instrument you might be talking about... I MIGHT guess a Hammond organ but that is only a wild guess. Should this be the case go over to the: where there are a lot of Hammond owners. You should ONLY use the Hammond oil. Also read this site:

My m3 makes no sound starts and runs perfect tubes are all lit

Sometimes people are fooled because some tubes have TWO heaters in them and you have to check that BOTH are lit. Your first thing is to get a schematic. Try the "Captain Foldback" site for Hammond schematics. You can find it with Google.

I have a Hammond XK1, I plug it in and everything is fine. Once I turn on the recessed ceiling lights with the three rotrary dimmer switches, I get a loud scratchy/hummming line noise through the amp,that...

It is probably so kind of interference from the rotary switches. It is in the shielding of the Hammond organ. You might try some aluminum foil around the unit certain areas at a time which will give you an idea if it will help and what areas need to be shielded. If that does the trick you install the aluminum foil shield inside the chassis. Hope that helps. Let me know..

I have 2 digital pianos and an xk3 Hammond but i find the xk3 is out of tune to the pianos. is this possible can you help me please Gordon

Ooften there is a setting for the pitch. Set it to A at 440 Hz which is usual standard. HOWEVER make sure it is really a pitch difference as the ear can be fooled by the "hammond" type sounds.

I purchased a used Hammond Organ Aurora, Model 700, 710 C125 but the previous owner did not have the manual for it. I am looking for a manual so I know how and what to do to play it. I don't know what...

Try the organforum . com. There are a lot of Hammond people there. The model 700 is the base model and probably enough to get you started.
Also just get a organ music book as a lot of the vernacular is in those. Also check your library for organ books. OFTEN the user manuals aren't much use to learn the instrument.

Most organs will either have tabs or drawbars. These select the type of "voice" and often one selects more than one as a mix. Each keyboard is refered to as a "Manual". Most organs have foot pedals. Each of the manuals and the foot pedals will have a seperate set of tabs associated with them.

To get started, turn on the organ and press the expression pedal which controls the volume... experiment setting a few tabs or drawbars an play notes on the manuals. You will soon learn what controls what.

Note that some models of Hammond organs used rotating tone wheels and those require lubrication. Those that do, usually have a power switch labelled "start" and "Run". These organs are usually higher value and one should have them serviced before using.
