Question about Compaq Presario R3000 Notebook
I have this laptop which is the c300 windows xp media center edition and i cannot access the internet i have it connected wireless to my linksys router and when i go and click on any broswer its says that it cannot establish a connection but on the wireless connection says i am connected with excellent connectivity and if i connect it with the ethernet cable it would still say the same but the weird thing is that windows updates and limewire still work like they would have be connected to the internet since i cant figure it out i was trying to system restore but that fails it says it cant go back to any date so i tried to format the drive and windows says that theres no har drive hooked up i would appreciate it if somone helps me out thanks
If you're running a wireless network, make sure all computers on the network use the same network name, for instance "My network" Home Network etc. one can't say "MS HOME" and the computer you're using say "My Network"
