2.Identify the Video In,Audio In ports of the TV
3. Connect AV Out from the DVD to the AV in of TV,Audio Out of the DVD to the Audio in ports of the TV.
4.If the TV is Mono (means, with a single Audio in), connect to any one of the Audio port of DVD.

Computer can not read install disc

When using the disc containing a computer operating system it is often necessary to change the boot sequence in the computer bios. If the dvd drive isn't first on the list it will be bypassed if there is already stuff on the hard drive.

Wise to test the disc on another computer.and if found to be good then suspect your dvd drive. Disconnect the drive and start the computer and then reconnect and restart. If it still doesn't work try another dvd drive.

The Philips GO-Gear unit is got stuck frozen?

Make sure the hol/lock is not engaged. As logn as it's not engaged, run the Repair in Philips Device Manager. If the Device Manager will not recognize the player: Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off.Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab.Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions. This will help.Good luck.

    • Turn off the device.
    • Disconnect the Acoustimass module power cord from the electrical source. Wait 60 seconds. Plug the cord back into to its power supply.

    • Hold down the "Eject" button.

"NO DVD" message after "LOADING".What can be the problem?

  • The DVD player might just be broken.
  • If the player is under warranty, contact the manufacturer or store and you may be able to get a replacement.
  • You might try unplugging the player, waiting a minute and plugging it back in.
  • If you don't hear the drive spin up at all, then the drive may be stuck. In the past I have had good luck slamming the player flat onto a carpeted floor to unstick the player. It will probably get stuck again eventually, though. Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose :)

SONY RDR GX120 stuck on WELCOME message

I have similar problem. I found that if I remove the outer casing (disconnect from mains supply first) and disconnect the DVD cable to the units circuit board then power up again it would clear the problem, but on reconnecting it then trying again the ‘Welcome’ message returned as before. I’m guessing it’s a problem with the DVD drive or its connection. The only other thing I have noticed is, if you do manage to clear the ‘Welcome’ message and leave the unit switched on with the standby button the unit works as normal.

We have a Sony Dream System DVD player in our Honda van. It was installed after purchase by The Good Guys in Emeryville, CA. The system powers on, but doesn't respond to any commands. i believe there is...

If you can access the power connection for it, you can disconnect it for a few minutes to reset it. I would recommend disconnecting the vehicles battery, since it may be just as easy or easier. Just wait 15mins, then reconnect it, so all of the electronics will be reset.

Try this: Unplug the recorder from power source for about 5 minutes and then reconnect. It will ask you to go through the Easy Setup first. Once you do this, you can set up the command mode.
