Unable to load program

Inserted cd to load turbotax delux addition, program did not load. Went to the start, then run and still was not able to load. Looked for the setup.exe file and could not find. This is the second turbotax purchased, with same results on both.

Does the turbo tax literature, or disk, specify that it is made to run under your version of windows?

Did you get the right operating system for turbo tax...that might be for MAC...and you are using PC. check the system requirements...

second open the auto run file in cd using note pad..and you will see which directory the setup or install exe is.

or if you are upgrading to delux edition there might be upgrade command in your current version of turbo tax...good luck

Make sure you are placing the CDs in the drive with the label side up. If the computer can read DVDs, it can certainly read CDs as well. Once the cd is inserted, wait and the autoplay should start the installation program for the software.

I have Camedia Master 4.1 which works fine on my XP computer, but I don't seem to be abl;e to install the program (from the CD) on my Windows Vista Home Premium computer. Can you help please? Thanks....

Put Camedia CD into CD slide.
Went to Start - All Programs - Accessories - Run
The Camedia programme was then loaded onto my Vista PC
Cheers, and no charge.

The setup wizard on the CD will not automatically run when inserted in the CD-ROM drive, what do i do?

  1. click on start
  2. My computer
  3. right click on CD/DVD Drive
  4. Left click auto run

selecting My Computer, right-clicking the drive that contained the CD-ROM, and selecting Properties. click the AutoPlay tab and select the Select an action to perform option, then double-click the program to use to run the CD-ROM. This action launched the program on the CD-ROM. Note that simply highlighting the program you want to use and clicking OK or Apply doesn't work; you must double-click the program and force it to launch on the CD-ROM or DVD in the drive. The CD-ROM then ran automatically, using the program associated with it on the AutoPlay tab.
