When I bring up the TV program listings, the vertical lines bend inwards from both sides towards the center of the screen, which explains why the TV picture of people are distorted. The horizontal lines look OK

The RCA GE sets have a problem with bad solder connections in the tuner unit which also causes numerous symptoms including poor regulation, no vertical deflection, low audio or dead set.

Pulling in from the sides is either poor regulation or a bad eeprom/solder join issue

Proscan PS27123 TV Problem

just to be sure, is it vertical or horizontal? Anyway, if it is vertical, it could point out to the vertical Ic section or some loose contacts along the lines. If it is horizontal, it could be a filter capacitor along the horizontal Circuitry. Mark the high voltage capacitors along the high voltage sections.

Vertical line picture

problem is caused by the loss of horizontal deflection signal. It is quite surprising that the entire unit is still working, since usually, a loss of H-Out will disable the entire set. Problem can be as simple as loose solder connection to a more complicated defective horizontal circuit. I would suggest havint it checked by a professional TV tech.

PANASONIC 32" CT-27SL14 model

This is a problem with the pincushion and convergence circuits. Are you planning on repairing this yourself? If so, I'll look up the circuit designations and parts. If not, expect a parts cost in the $15 range plus the local labor rate.

the problem in your TV receiver. Some components in Horizontal and vertical deflection circuits must be faulty. Adjusting H & V frequency may also smooths the picture. Contact Authorisedservice personnel.. All the best !

TV Problem

No. Are the lines white or black? Does the picture look distorted at the top? Is there a chance it is still under warranty? It sounds like a problem in the vertical retrace circuit. Probably a capacitor near an IC that's used for timing. You shouldn't be having this issue already. A tech should be able to see a distorted waveform in the vertical section. Hope this helps.
