Problem for Sony SDM-HS75 (Silver) 17" LCD Monitor

Monitor keeps displaying model and serial information

The serial number and model info keeps popping up in the middle of my screen at frequent intervals and i can't get rid of it. Also the menu lock option keeps showing up also and it keeps getting in the way of what i'm doing. How do i stop the monitor from displaying the model and serial information and stop the monitor menu from popping up without my control?
