started a month ago, then fixed itself for a day, then went back to green and pink. Hooked up to desktop monitor to check it and that worked fine.

Since you already hooked up a desktop monitor and it works fine then that only means that this is already a hardware issue. Most likely the screen. Contact Manufacturer.

Not starting and having a beeping tone

I think you have a memory problem. Turn off the laptop, remove the adapter and battery. Usually, the memory is installed under the laptop. Remove the cover of the memory slots and try removing the SODIMM or memory and re-insert it. Try to test it again if it works or not. If not, remove the memory and clean it with an eraser and brush it with an unused paint brush. After cleaning, re-insert it and test it again. If it still doesn't work, your memory is busted. You have to replace it.
Hope this works.

Last night i used my laptop and it is still in good condition. I was surprised when i opened this morning, there was already a straight white line that is seen horizontally on 0.25cm from the topmost area....

It might be the problem of the LCD display wiring. Not any problems of the drivers. If your notebook is still in the warranty period, call the customer care and they should fix it.

Or else print screen, copy it to paint. If there is no white lines in the image, then sure its LCD problem. Replace the wiring with experts in case you're out of warranty period. Take care not to repair it by yourself as it could do more damage to your screen.

PINK PROJECTOR SCREEN DELL B130

Generally, a cable connection or cable issue. not all the color signals are making it to the projector. Try reseating the cable connections on both ends. If no changes, then try another vga cable

Vertical lines on my lcd laptop screen

It's the connector problems.
If you know what to do, I can guide you:

First, remove the screw all over the LCD case, then you can see the connector, and flexible cables.
Second, remove the keyboard unit(by removing all screw on the unit), after removed, find the edge of the LCD cables, then you can see the connector.

The solution:
1.Try clean this two connector with soft brushes ( paint brush is good ), by removing the cable first, then clean the flexible connector using wet tissue ( use the alcohol ).

2. If still exist, you need to replace the flexible with new ones.

Mouse drifts all over screen

Hello there, this a well known problem with inspiron 4000's like a majority of other Dell Inspiron user's... After some time I've managed to fix it simply by downloading a touchpad driver (Tp2aa10i.exe) for Inspiron 4000 from a Dell website. The problem is the defect of the mousestick! And Dell is aware of it! Upon installation, simply disable the mousestick and the headache's gone! This way you can still use you your touchpad and mouse.....

After you press print scr, it won't print to printer, you need to paste it in application such as paint (come with ms windows) and from there you can print it to printer.
the combination key,
try press prn scr only and paste it in paint application.
if it isnot working, try using shift+prn scr.
