Question about Sungale Progressive Scan 5.1 Channel DVD Player
Here recently, we got the movie Little Man from Blockbuster. For some reason everytime we put this movie in our DVD player it says "Error Data." We had to return this movie to Blockbuster 4 times already. The first time I thought it was the movie,I went and got another one in it's place. Unfortunately, the one I got done it,too. I have a friend who also has the same type of DVD Player and his done the same thing. I have tried to unplug it and plug it back up,nothing. I tried to see if changing the setting would help it,it didn't. When I changed one setting,it did something weird after that. I changed it to PAL instead of NTSC and after that it went crazy for awhile. The screen went fuzz and lines were going up and down the screen and even unplugging it didn't help. I went to change it back and I don't know if it reset itself or it re-adjusted all by itself, but it cleared itself out and acted normal, but it didn't solve anything What I was wondering is,why I am having problems like this? Sometimes,if it gets too hot,it will say "Parental Control Off." Or something similar to that. There are times we have to turn it off and turn it back on,for it to work properly. What I am wondering the most though is why my DVD Player is saying Error Data. Can you please help me with this, I would really appreciate it. Thanks, blueangel
I have the same unit and was getting a "wrong disc" message and it would not play and disc I put in it. Emailed Sungale support and they said to unplug the unit for "a day or two" then plug it back in and it should work normally. I did that and it works fine now. Don't know if your problem could be related or how long you were leaving it unpluged but try the above and see if it helps.
They were very prompt with a reply to my email and you can contact them at service@sungale.com if the above doesn't help.
