Need passphrase from D-Link router DI-524
Unable to connect new laptop to the internet via D-Link DI-524 router. Do not know password or passphrase. How do I obtain this information from the router?

If you know the router password, you can log into and click on the wireless tabs. If you have lost the router password, you either need to get it from someone who knows it, or follow the D-Link instructions for resetting the router.

1. if the default login never been modified b4, u can hook a network cable to the router, type "192.168.0.1" to enter the router config. Once inside, u can edit the password or disable it.
*U may prompt for username (admin) and passsword(empty).
2. If the default login has been modified and u r not able to enter the router config, u can just reset the router by inserting a pin to the small hole to get back the factory default settings. Then u can perform above step again to reconfigure your wireless router.
