SOURCE: Shoprider- wheelchair will not move-Lights keep flashing

This usually occurs when either the battery charger is still plugged in when the button is pressed to turn on the wheelchair, or if the joystick has got 'Locked'. On the majority of electric wheelchairs you can lock the joystick control so that the wheelchair cannot be moved, for instance, it it was left outside a shop. You would need a manual for the controller from the manufacturer to tell you how to unlock it. You should be able to find this online somewhere. Most controllers on shopriders are made by Penny & Giles (P&G Drives Technology). Hope thats helpful to you...

SOURCE: i have a 4 wheeled shoprider sunrunner scooter.

Possible one or both batteries have had there day. How old are the batteries. If they are between 1 and 2 years old they will probably need replacing. it would be adviseable to get the batteries tested and have the charger checked as well. When did it have its last service ?

SOURCE: gogo elitescooter lights indicate battery fully charged but scooter will not go

Make sure the free-wheel lever is engaged and the charger is unplugged from the scooter before you try to turn the scooter on. If the battery gauge goes up when you turn the scooter on and there are no beeping sounds you should be good to go.If the battery gauge drops to the red when you try to accelerate slowly, your batteries are shot. (Typical replacement in 24-48 months). If there is any beeping when the key is first turned on then there is a problem and the number of beeps indicates the problem found by the computer during the POST. SOURCE: scooter won't move

Things to check: Drive/Free wheeling switch, brake release lever (this activates an internal micro-switch that enable power to the drive system, battery box connectors (condition of contacts - corroded, missing, loose. etc.); main control cable (corrosion. lose or missing pins, etc). If all these are OK, could be controller or drive control potentiometers (speed, forward, backward) on the handle-bar (tiller).
Good luck!

Five beeps? Maybe it's not the same as my Celebrity XL8 but my instruction manual talks of a 1+4 beep warning meaning low battery charge. It also suggests checking that the wiring harness connectors are all fully connected - that would include the battery terminals of course. If your hubby managed to do a wheelie this sounds a strong possibility if the batteries were dislodged. Anyway, I attach the page from my Celebrity XL8 manual, you can find other Celebrity manuals online. My congratulations to your husband, I've yet to master wheelies!

Is the charging circuit fuse blown? There are two hidden under the floor mat and hatch. Pride say that they don't exist, but there they are and one of mine mine was blown by a faulty XLR lead

Battery fully charged but not power to run

Measure the battery voltage individually. If each battery has less than 10 volts, charge them with an automotive style NON automatic battery charger.

I have a Lyra 4. The battery is fully charged. It was going well on the lowest setting but it doesn't move on that any more and I have to put it very high to get it to go. What is wrong?

Let me take a shot at this, batteries are fully charged ,and it wont move at all in the slow settings.I would check for looseness in your throttle ,make sure its responding correctly when you want to go forward and reverse .second i would check your speed knob make sure its not loss or coming off, i have dealt with many problems like this one in the past and the knob was just lose and needed tighten ,and if everything checks out you are more likely dealing with a bad speed pot, which would be that knob you turn your speed up with.that would cause you not to move in your slow settings.

good luck hope i was of some help.
