did you hook this head unit up or did you have some one hook it up for you? most of the time it is that factory amp that makes it cute in and out. take the head unit out of you car and hook it up with a 12 volt power in your house or on you battary with a speaker and if it still cuts out the amp chip need to be replaced. let me know if this helped. thanks.

The JVC KD-G140 does not have a Bluetooth option, either built-in or with an adapter. And as far as I can tell, it doesn't have a "mute" or "phone" wire which would allow installation of a generic bluetooth adapter, such as the Parrot. If you want to connect your cellphone, I'd recommend you look at an upgrade here.
Below is the step-by-step procedure for setting the JVC clock. Please note that after you have entered the PSM mode, if you have not pressed a button for about 2 seconds, the radio will automatically exit the mode and return to normal operating mode. In that case, you must restart PSM by holding the "SEL" button until the display changes.
(1). Enter the PSM mode by pressing and holding the
SEL button until the display changes.
(2). Use the rocker switch left/right until "CLOCK
H" is displayed.
(3) Set the clock hours by turning the volume
(4) Press the rocker switch again until "CLOCK M"
(5) Set the clock minutes by turning the volume
(6) Press the SEL button to finish and EXIT.
Press the Mode button (M) and the display will flash mode. Then hold the select button (SEL) until it changes to display something else. Hit left and right seek until you find clock M and clock H. Hit select again and use the volume button to change the time! Took me two freaking hours to figure that **** out.
