you would have to check with Consew about a repair manual, it would be a good idea to replace the needle bar clamp.

is it possible that the needle bar is out of time?

Your machine may be out of adjustment, here is the manual for your Machine http://consew.marginspluslive.com/images/products/pdf10/7360r-rh-rbboth.pdf -or possibly your needle is bent.

make sure the needle is inserted correctly
check the needle clamp screw to make sure it's tight
the needle is to fine for the fabric being used
also make sure under the needle plate there is no lint
also in bobbin area
also check the tension

What size thread are you using? With thicker fabrics, you should be using at least a size 50. Even a 30 would be better.
