Will my Revlon curling iron Hot 19482 work in Europe with the 220 watt plugs or do I need to take a wattage converter? Thank you for your help.

You will need to pack a converter simply because the outlet styles in Europe are totally different from ours. Instead of using two flat blades like we do, they use two round pegs. Have a great trip!

I just bought a used hot tub with a Balboa Instruments model WL T-Pro motor. The cord from the motor has been cut and the people who set the spa up for me wired the cord into a 220 plug. I don't have a...

There are electric motors that run on ether 110 or 220 but wire must be changed on the motor to change from one to the other. Look on the side or end of the motor housing for a identification sicker or plate it well have the information that well tell you which it is or if it can be either.
Now for the bad news if it was sit up for 110 or if it is only 110 the motor is most likely fried.

Can an extentiuon cord be used to operate a Jet Pump

Yes and no. Is the pump 220 volts? It would be only temp if you did and I wouldn't get in it. No ground. I would do it just to try it out. The extension cord drops the amperage X amount, if you have a 15 amp breaker on the cord and a motor that draws 16 amps at start up, it will pop the breaker. That is if it is 110 volts, if it is 220, then forget it. You would need 2 pieces of romex with the ends twisted together to make a wire big enough to handle the load. But without the motor being grounded and the breaker being in place, I would not get in the tub without big boots on and I wouldn't sit down. Hope this helps.

Have a 1991 Jacuzzi 2 HP 220/110 pump. need wiring help

If you are running a 120 volt line then there is no way it could run 240. Did you wire it yourself? A 240 would have a hook up in the box for a red hot wire, a black hot wire, a white neutral, and a green or copper ground wire.

A 120 would have a white neutral , a black hot, and a green or copper ground wire. It wired correctly, you may need to replace the capacitor. But be certain you have cut the power to the circuit off at the panel.
