My LG dishwasher when I turn it on it drains the water, then it fills it up with water, about 1 min. later gives me the code E1 and drains the water again...

LG Dishwasher Displaying Fault Code E1 LDF7810BB/01 LEAKAGE ERROR // Excessive pump motor RPM due to water leakage
The manufacturer has assigned this error or fault code to indicate that when the drain pump is running it is not experiencing the back pressure it expects. This is usually an indication that there is a water leak in the drain system. Check all hoses and connections. Check under the dishwasher for any major leak. If all checks out, be certain there is a proper loop in the drain hose to prevent siphoning. Finally, if the problem persists, the drain pump itself might be defective.

How do I reset code 1

Hello tpjacobson - The error code "E01" displayed on your unit does typically indicate that the unit has detected a water leak. Was the dishwasher recently installed? If so, it could be that it is not installed correctly or not leveled properly. That can throw the leak/water sensor off big time. However, if it was not recently installed, contact a professional to move forward accurately to confirm that a water valve is loose or unit has a crack.

Optima G2430 Miele dishwasher with F13 error

F13 Indicates that you have a water intake fault. The machine is not receiving the the proper amount of water quantity. You could turn off the water supply and disconnect the water inlet hose. There is a filter inside, to remove the filter you have to take out the seal and then you could use a pair of needle nose pliers to take out the filter basket. If the filter is clean you and your water supply is good, you have a problem with your flow meter not registering pulses when the water is taken in.

Samsung DMR77LHS Tall Tub Dishwasher displays HE code (flashing) and does not finish the cycle. I am very handy and would like to repair this myself. so as much detail as possible is appreciated.

EE1/HE/HE1
  • The EE and HE codes refer to temperature errors. The EE1 designation refers to a thermistor issue, and the HE codes refer to heater problems. These are all functional errors that require a certified service technician, but disconnecting the circuit breaker in the meantime can prevent the problem from growing worse.
  • 4E/4E1
  • The 4E codes indicate a problem with the water supply. If you see the 4E code, make sure the water supply line is correctly attached and open and not frozen or clogged. If you get a 4E1 code, check the temperature of the incoming water supply and ensure that it is below 176 degrees. If either of these issues persist despite your best efforts, contact a repair center.
  • 5E
  • The 5E code means there is a problem with the drain. Make sure the drain hose and openings are not clogged or obstructed. If they are not, and the code remains, disconnect the circuit breaker to reduce the risk of electric shock and contact a service center.
  • oE/9E
  • The oE and 9E codes refer to issues with the water level. The oE code means that the dishwasher is filling too much, and the 9E code means it is not filling enough. Disconnect the circuit breaker for safety and contact a repair center.
  • LE
  • The LE code indicates a leak. To keep from voiding your warranty, do not attempt to diagnose and repair the leak yourself. Close the water supply valve and disconnect the circuit breaker to avoid electric shock and contact a repair technician.
  • 6E2/PE
  • The 6E2 and PE codes both indicate functional errors that must be repaired by a professional. The 6E2 code indicates a pressed key error, and the PE code refers to a problem with the half-load function. Disconnect the circuit breaker in either case and contact a repair service.

My dishwasher model number dmr77lhb is showing error code le and there are no apparent external water leaks how can I rest

I fixed mine by pulling out the unit then flipping over to access the white tray that covers the bottom of the unit. Remove this then dry it out...there's a sensor in there that triggers the LE code. It could be a leak but in most cases it's just built up condensation. EE1/HE/HE1

My Samsung dishwasher has a error code 4E after i start it up could you please let met know what this means thanks

Most common error codes that are caused by installation errors are:
    • 4E. If your dishwasher is displaying error code 4E, it can be caused by the water supply valve. The water supply valve may be closed, or not fully open. Most water supply valves are not frequently opened or closed. Because of this, they may be difficult to turn. To make sure this is not your issue, turn the supply valve to the fully closed position, clockwise, and then turn the valve to the fully open position, counterclockwise.
      • Check your water pressure. Your dishwasher requires a minimum of 20 psi and a maximum of 120 psi.
      • Water filtration info.

I am getting an IE error on my control panel. It seems to start ok but once it starts to fill with water the IE error comes up and the machine shuts off. How can I fix this?

You do not list the manufacturer and model number, but it sounds like you own an LG dishwasher.

The IE error indicates that the water is not entering the dishwasher or it is entering too slowly / with little pressure. It is important to check the water inlet pipe (hot water connection under the sink) all the way to the dishwasher. Check for any kinks/blockages after you confirm that the valve at the sink is fully open.

Please report back here with what you find. If you still have problems, there are other things to check, including the solenoid valve just past the connection of the water inlet.
