Re: no agitate/no spin/yes spin in rinse
This is a drive shaft issue. this shaft is connected to the gear case and the gears may be stripped or the clutch may be damaged. there are many plastic parts here in this area that can break due to heavy load or just old age. replacing the internal parts and clutch will fix these issue you are having.

It shouldn't agitate on rinse cycle. ''Quick wash'' is the last type of ''cycle'' you can select that the machine will ''agitate.'' On ''rinse'' cycle, it will fill with water and then simply drain & spin.
The draining problem could be something stuck in the pump. A easy fix just take it apart and get whatever is in it out of there. The agitator sits atop an agitator drive block. The spline on these tends to strip out. Yank off the agitator (it just snaps on) and replace the drive block.
The typical cycle is; fills to selected water level agitates wash cycle drains wash water spins wash cycle fills to selected water level on rinse cycle agitates on rinse cycle drains rinse water spins final time end of cycle
hi, this is a generic problem with top-loading washing machines. when the distribution of load is not uniform, it gives sound when spinning. if it produces noise even after equal distribution of clothes, the problem lies in the suspension. this is not a major fault, and can be put up with, rather than spending dollars on fixing it. this will in no way cause any special wear and tear for the machine. cheers
