Question about HP w1907 LCD Monitor
It was working fine last night, today it is so dark it's looks black. If I shine a flash light directly on it I can see it is working. I tried resetting brightness & contrast but neither had a effect. I restored my computer back to last week when it was working. Nothing, HELP please!
Your backlight is gone. LCDs usually use CCFL (Cold cathode Fluorescent Lamp) for backlight, maybe it's your CCFL power inverter (power supply for the CCFLs) or the CCFLs themself.. You probably won't be able to fix that for yourself :(
