Question about Watches

XQG65-908E Hi there, I am in Australia and have a Stirling XQG65-908E (purchase from Aldi) that has come up with an E33 error code. It is 12 months old and it is the second time it has happened, unfortunately it only does it when there are clothes locked in the machine. Last time we waited three days for a repair man to press a random button combination that reset the machine but as it is now Christmas nobody is available for 3 days which means that we could be a week without a washer with 4 kids in the house. Can anybody please help me with reset codes for

Power up the machine and press TEMP, FABRIC SELECT, TEMP, FABRIC SELECT, in that order, within 30 seconds of powering up the machine, this will enter service mode and t01 will display on the control panel...

Hold in the delay button for 3 seconds, this should reset the codes....

If doing the above does not work after 3 attempts, there is a fault in the circuit relating to the fault code,,,(COMPONENT) good luck. the code is a stuck door. Hopefully you didn't try to pry it open.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Have you tried looking up the instructions on line? Sometimes you have to hold down the buttons for a few seconds (up to 5). Do you see any wording around the edging like "mode" , "adjust" sometimes they are hard to see. Try this and if you still have problems PLEASE let me know I will research this further for you.

SOURCE: Tag Heuer Link, stopwatch seconds hand stops 2 seconds before 12

Pull crown out to position 2 [in between unscrewed (1) and pulled all the way out (3)].  Tap Button B (bottom) to reset by step back to zero.
Incidentally, Button A works Hours register in same manner for position 2.  You can similarly reset second and 1/10th with Buttons A and B, respectively, while in position 3.  Cheers!

Date change

Hi.
I take it that your watch changes date at 12 noon, instead of 12 midnight.
If so change the time of your watch 12 hours, so it reads the same time, but instead of am, it is pm, or visa versa. Analog watches do not have a 24 hour time setting.

Maxum Watch Band X6003L2 - Australia Need a replacement band, but distributor says it can only replace whole watch not band. It is only 18 months old. Any advice?

You might be able to replace the band with a generic watch band (meaning a band that will fit the watch but is not the exact band that it came with) Some good companies would be speidel or Hadley Roma to get the bands from. Just find out the millimeter length (or the size of the band) and you probably could change it.

How do I turn off the hourly chime

Generally the chime is turned on or off by pressing a combination of two buttons. If you don't have the instructions that came with the watch, then perhaps you can figure it out with a little trial and error. On watches similar to yours, pressing two buttons at once changes functions such as 12/24 hour time, turning the alarm or chime on/off, switching the day/month in the date display (ie. 12-6 to 6-12), etc. You will just have to figure out which combination turns the chime on and off.

Carrera automatic. stops with 8 hours of non wearing

Hi

I hate to be blunt be if it stops after 8 hours of wear, it may need a service! Most watches (particularly automatics which winds constitantly, when being worn).

Take it to your local watchmaker for a assessment? If it's less then 2 years old take it back to your place of purchase with reciepts as most swatch group (rado, longines, and tag etc) have a 2 year international g/t (that what we have here in australia and way, please consult your warranty card for verification!)

My ecclisi watch band links have all frozen, and then snapped.

Hi QVC would be a good place to start your quest, get in touch with them and explain the situation.
I assume from what you have posted, that the links were failing over a period of time even before the 12 month gurantee date, Be plesent but firm, QVC trade on good customer relations.
