Why my nokia C3 doesnt ring accordingly although i set the ring tone already?its only vibrate.i'm not using silent mode.

I can imagine it how annoying it would be to you to see your cell vibrating instead of playing your favorite ring tone. Most probably it could be because of incorrect Profile configuration. It is possible to make your phone vibrate in almost every profile so we will assume that it is the reason for your problem too. Do the following and check some parameters as described.

1. Go to Menu > Settings > Profiles
2. Select Profile and then Select General.
3. After selecting General you will be given 3 options (Activate, Personalize, Timed)
4. Select Personalize.
5. In the Incoming Call Alert field, select Ringing.
6. In the Ringing Tone field, select your favorite ring tone.
7. Scroll down, (push down button) the next field would be Ringing Volume. For now select the max.
8. Scroll down to the Vibrating Alert field and set it to Off.
9. Scroll further down thill the very last field where it says Alert For, select All Calls for this field.
10. Save your modifications.
11. Activate the profile and see if it works now.

Only and only If it doesn't work, it may be due to software corruption.
In that case reset your phone to the factory default settings by going to:
Menu > Settings > Press UP button.
Select Restore Factory Sett. give your Security Code (default = 12345) and viola.
(Make backup of your messages ad contacts before attempting this)

Cannot find volume

You can change the Alert type by going to Tone setup:
Select Menu > Settings > Tone
Here you will have the option of changing the ring type. you can select Ring only or Ring and Vibrate or any other available options as per your choice.

Hope this information is helpful.

Ring tone problem

there r three modes. 1)ring mode. 2)vibration mode. 3)silence mode. so it would be on silence mode.just make it ring mode from silence mode. which can be done by going into settings then in to ringer and volume that you can select. thanks.

My phone has no song at all

Hi Kathnicks2
Have you checked your profile if its in silent mode? Also check the settings and in that check if you have selected the incoming call alert as ringing or vibrate. You can also check if your mobile is ok by trying to listen to ring tones in general. So, if you are not able to just listen to ring tones, then you will have to meet a service person who can get it right for you.

No ringinh

You can check what profile is selected by pressing the red button once while the phone is in standby mode. Then try to change the profile to General or Loud. If that is OK then try this: go to Menu/Settings/Tone settings/Ringing volume and set it to the maximum value.
If that doesn't help please let me know and I'll try to find some other solution.

Nokia 6600 no new message received display

HI Qrasengan,
1) Open the menu, and go to profiles.
2) Enter the general option, and click on personalise.
3) after that, several option appears.
4) some of them are ringing tone, ringing type, ringing volume, message alert tone, vibrating alert, etc.
5) Go to message alert tone and change the tone u want to listen when message is received.
NOte :Only wav or midi formats are accepted as ringing tone. MP3s are not accepted as ringing tones in NOKIA 6600. U need to install a software "mp3 as ringing tone" or "mp2wmaogg.codec" to make mp3 as ringing tone.
If u want that software, send me feedback or reply.
And I will deliver u as email in ur email id.
