Firstly as soon as I connect the MP3 player it shows USB connected. I downloaded music files.When I disconnected it from the USB, it turns OFF to not to turn ON. Also it just played the songs only once when the USB was plugged in. Since then it just shows USB connected and nothing else.

With a desktop computer and the USB cable you can transfer music to your SanDisk Sansa MP3 player. Simply hook the USB cable up to an available USB port and begin dragging music files to the folders of your SanDisk MP3 player1 Free a USB port on your desktop computer. Connect your player to the your computer using a usb cord. A screen should pop up asking you what you wish to do with your device, choose the program you would wish to put music on with: windows media player, rhapsody, etc. Go to the sync tab and drag music to your player

Check to make sure you stll have your driver for the player on your computer. If that does not work try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer?s website. It sounds like there is a problem with the firmware...call sandisk and have them do a firmware upgrade on the device...once you do that it should fix the problems you are having right [email protected]
I had the same problem on my m230. The final solution that worked for me was to disconnect then go into settings;usb and set it to MSC. Once I re-connected I could see everything.
