Question about Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO (F5D9230-4) Router (1010835)
At some point, I think I may have upgraded my firmware for the wrong hardware version of my F5D9230-4 (I have ver 3000). My router still works for wired connections, but the firmware interface is virtually empty so I can't adjust values. I'm not sure if I need to change settings on my browser (Firefox 3.07), but I can't access the firmware fields, even though the page comes up properly for 192.168.2.1. Will pressing 'reset' for 7 seconds restore the firmware to the original? Is there something else I should do to load the correct firmware?
Firmware is on the device itself, resetting will only reset the settings on the device to factory defaults, which might be worth a try at this point.
If you didn't before, the proper firmware is located at http://www.belkin.com/support/article/?lid=en&pid=F5D9230-4&aid=8593&scid=0
The -4 probably means your hardware version is 4000, use the easy install wizard located on the right side of the page.
