Sansui FR d35 replacement turntable hinges

I have a sansui FR d35 turntable with a failed cover hinge. Is there a suitable generic or non sansui compatible replacement out there? The OEM part number is 13044600

SOURCE: TECHNICS SL-B280 DUST COVER W/ HINGES

All parts are discontinued for this model. The SL1200MK2 dust cover will not fit this turntable. You can actually have a dust cover made rather simply and cheaply (depending on where you live). Just take the dimensions to a PLEXIGLASS or even a GLASS shop. You can even purchase the Plexiglass yourself, cut it, and glue it together. I would suggest getting it professionally done. You can use any high impact plexiglass. Get something that is resistant to scratches and discoloring.

SOURCE: I have a Sansui FR-D3 Turntable. The speed fluctuates

The spindle is probably seized up due to dried up grease.I collect vintage record players and dried up grease is a common problem especially if the previous owner had not used the player for some time.Taking the spindle apart is a reasonably easy job and sites like Vinyl Engine can prove very helpful in explaining how to take things apart safely.

Check on ebay for that tt and maybe someone has parts listed. Or try the manufacturer but if a unit is more than ten years old parts are usually no longer available.

Dust cover falls down

You'll have to flip your turntable upside down on a pillow or beanbag, remove the feet & all the screws including the harder plastic underside to get to the hinges where by which you can estimate whether there was wear & tear & needs replacing or whether it was a simple fix by just tightening up the screws that hold the hinges in place.

It is next to impossible to find a replacement stylus, I suggest replacing the cartridge which will include the stylus giving you the flexibility to make a choice on what you prefer.

I've just bought a new lid for my 1200 Technics turntable, but can't work out how to attach it and don't want to break anything trying first.

All the new one dont have the hinges any more....The just ahve the rubber feet on the corners and it will just sit there...The older ones with the hinges will have a part sticking up..Slide the male part from the tables hinge into the female part of the hinge on the cover.

Have a Sansui compu edit p-m70 turtable. I turn

Lift off the turntable mat and the platter. Near the tone-arm, remove two screws holding down a panel and then inspect the tonearm belt. They wear out and stretch out and this could be the problem. Replacement is easy and does not require any special tools or further dissasembly.

Lock light indicates that turntable platter speed has reached correct speed.

Sl-1210mk5g's

It should be fairly obvious. The only thing I can think of it that the hinges are missing (these slot in to both the lids and the turntable and are easily lost if someone has been using them with the lids off).

If they are missing, it certainly would make it difficult to figure out!
