Question about Goodyear 1964 Chevrolet C20 Pickup Accessory Drive Belt Goodyear
I've replaced the plugs and wires checked the timing and vacuum advance is fine. Any other ideas of what it could be?
Check timing first, if it's off set it.
If it is off and does not want to set, meaning it never stays where you set it, could be timing chain wear.

That is a mechanical timing issue with the crank and the cam. IF the engine has a lot of miles on it, you may need to overhaul the timing gears and chain. If you rebuilt it, the timing is not right.
