Question about Sewing Machines
My machine stitch is not perfect down stitchis very loose
Rethread your machine and make sure the thread is properly in the tension disk. Tighten the tension a little at a time once you are sure everything is threaded properly.

Your tension is loose on top. Adjust your tension dial up a little at a time until you have a desirable stitch. Before adjusting the tension, you may want to look into the tension and see if there are any threads caught between the disc. If so remove them. Another common problem is that your machine is not threaded properly, make sure the pressure foot is in the up position when threading and if needed consult your manual for the proper threading diagram.

SOURCE: Lower Looper are loose
depending on the fabric sewed, sometimes the tension has to be
adjusted. when sewing on a project cut a scrap piece from the fabric
being used, as you sew then you can check to tension to see if
it needs to be tightened or loosened.
do you have a manual for the machine?
also try new needles
