Transmitter Programming
Important: All transmitters which are to be recognized by the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR) must be programmed in a single programming sequence. If the system is placed in program mode it will erase all previously programmed transmitters upon the receipt of the programming signal from the first transmitter. Up to 4 transmitters can be programmed. Do not operate or program the transmitters in the vicinity of other vehicles that are in the keyless entry program mode. This prevents the programming of the transmitters to the incorrect vehicle.
Install a scan tool.
Use the scan tool in order to access programming: Vehicle Control System/Computer Integrating System/Module Setup/BCM/Program Key Fobs.
Press the START soft key on the scan tool.
Important: The scan tool must stay connected until all of the transmitters are programmed.
Press and hold the LOCK button and the UNLOCK button simultaneously on one transmitter. After a delay of 5-10 seconds, the scan tool will indicate that the transmitter is programmed.
Repeat the previous step in order to program up to 4 transmitters.
Remove the scan tool.
Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation.

Make sure you have downloaded latest QFG Module and also have LG drivers from support installed ...

1. Download U970 unlock file (in Lg3g Folder) and u970 NV file (in NVM Folder)
2. Hold 2+5+ON to put LG in download mode and connect to original SHINE USB cable (recommended to connect to PC USB slot NOT USB HUB to avoid errors) drivers will automatically install
3.Open QFG Module, SCAN FOR INTERFACE ... choose correct COM and choose job as FULL FLASH ... make sure FORCE MODE is ticked ... press DO JOB and locate u970.UNLOCK file ... press OK
4. Have a cuppa , it will take about 45min to FULL FLASH (FGOLD BOX will give warning message during FLASH, check phone is powered on - JUST LIGHT IS ON IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE ON FULLY - and press OK if NOT follow instruction given on warning message and press OK)
5. After FLASH switch phone ON and RECONNECT to USB CABLE ... SCAN INTERFACE ... choose correct COM ... choose do job as NV WRITE ... make sure FORCE MODE is ticked ... press DO JOB and locate u970.NV file ... press OK
6. RECONNECT TO USB CABLE ... SCAN INTERFACE ... DIRECT UNLOCK ... OK

Starting a Scan With EPSON Scan If you want to scan an image and save it directly to a file, you can start EPSON Scan as a “standalone” program.
Place your document or photo on the scanner. See Placing Documents or Photos for instructions.

Do one of the following to start EPSON Scan:

Windows:
Double-click the EPSON Scan icon on your desktop.

Or select Start > All Programs or Programs > EPSON Scan > EPSON Scan.

Mac OS X:
Open the Applications folder and click the EPSON Scan icon.

The EPSON Scan window appears.

If the Mode setting in the upper right corner of the window is set to Full Auto Mode, click the Scan button. For instructions on selecting optional settings, see Using Full Auto Mode.

If you are in Home or Professional Mode, see Selecting Basic Settings.

Note: To change scan modes, see Changing the Scan Mode.
The File Save Settings window appears. For instructions on selecting options, see Selecting File Save Settings.


When you are finished selecting File Save Settings, click OK. EPSON Scan starts scanning in Full Auto Mode.

The scanned image is automatically saved in the specified location.

If the Open image folder after scanning checkbox is selected in the File Save Settings window, Windows Explorer or the Macintosh Finder automatically opens to the folder where the scanned image was saved.

the unlock command is done from the manual mode.

If you scanner is in the scan mode, push the "MANUAL"button to stop the scanning feature.

Next you need to go to the channel you want to unlock. If you are only a few channels away, while in the manual mode, push the up or down arrows to step (one push per channel to be stepped though) to the channel to be unlocked.

A direct method is to enter the channel number on the keypad and then push the "manual" button. The display should show the channel you desire.

If the channel lockout is on, the second line on the display will show "LO+". Push the keypad button marked "L/OUT" once. The "LO+" should change on the display from uppercase to a lowercase "lo+". The channel is now unlocked.
