Convert lp natural gas

To convert a lincoln LP gas oven to a natural gas, you actually first of all need to buy from the supplier an orifice ment for natural gas and change. The difference in the orifices could be in the size of orifice aperture.
The orifice i'm talking about is located in the burner assembly. you got to dis assemble the burner so as to get to it.
After that you need to adjust the main gas manifold when the oven is on. The adjustment must be done such that the pilot flame is not yellowish

Yes. You need a set of natural gas orifices to replace the LP ones on the oven and all the burners too.

I would like to convert a grill that was used on natural gas back to propane. Can I just purchase a regulator and hose and be good, or do I need to change anything else on the grill?

Burner orifices must be resized or adjusted to accommodate higher pressure LP.
Air shutters should be opened all the way to allow maximum air to gas ration.

I have a older 40,000 BTU 3 burner natural gas deep fryer. I would like to convert to propane gas. The orifice number is size 32. Do I need to get different orifices to convert? The serial number is...

Hi there.

Burner orifice size for propane gas is number 55. You have to replace all burner orifice with this size if you want to use the fryer with propane gas. Pilot burner orifice should be replaced with propane pilot orifice. The gas valve spring should also be replaced with propane spring kit. The difference between the two spring is the natural gas spring is lighter or thinner compare with the propane gas valve spring.

I bought a dcs fryer at a restaurant auction. I had it installed in my restaurant, and when I got it going flames were shooting out of the back. I had it looked at, but because there is no serial number...

The difference between Natural Gas Set Up and Propane Gas Set Up on Fryers are as follows:
Natural gas burner orifice has larger bore (#52) than Propane Gas burner orifice (#55 or #56).
Gas Valve's spring kit for natural gas has less tension (thinner) than Propane.
You have to order burner orifice ( the quantity depends on the number of burners your fryer has), pilot orifice and Gas Valve Spring Kit for Propane Gas if your fryer is set for Natural Gas or vice versa.

BOUGHT A BRINKMANN 2545 GRILL LAST NIGHT. WE HAVE IT ATTACHED TO GAS LINE COMING FROM HOUSE. GRILL WILL LIGHT BUT IT IS A LITTLR FLAME AND THE OTHER BURNERS WILL NOT LIGHT?

If you have a high pressure 2lb LP Gas System feeding your house, you will need and inline regulator for you grill.

If you have Natural Gas, the grill will have to be converted to Natural Gas. You can do this by changing burner orifices. You can purchase them from Brinkman. That is, if Brinkman approves the change to Natural Gas. Some gas grills aren't convertible.

Converting Thermos Stainless Grill to natural gas

You have to install a conversion kit for it to work the way you want. The reason is because the orifice in either the valves or the main "jet" that feeds the burner tube has to be changed. Natural gas is really not as efficient as lp gas (propane) because it takes more natural gas to create the same btu output as propane.

In short, your grill will not work if you do not do the conversion. I am including a link that lists the conversion kit for your grill, you can order it there and you can download the assembly manual as well.
