If there are plug in spots for audio and mic on the display, then you can plug them in there, although there will need to be a similar cord going from the display to the computer for this to work; otherwise there should be a mic and audio port on the computer, either in the front of back, if your computer has sound capabilities. Another option is some speakers have a headset port on them for audio.

Your monitor may not have an audio connection built in.
You'll have to use the speaker and mic jacks on the computer if there are none on the monitor.

I have a Peavey XR 8600 PA, I have tried adding an external vocal effects module into a mic line but it drops the output volume of the entire PA by about 75%. Any ideas why this is?

Well, I would say it isn't dropping the level of "the whole pa", it is just dropping the level of the input you have plugged the fx into. Check the settings on your fx unit, there are usually input, output and mix controls that are independant of "the pa" and affect the amplitude of the signal going into your mixer from the fx unit.

That's not unusual. Just plug your headset/mic into the connectors on your computer. They all have rear-panel jacks, and many have them on the front as well for easier access.

2001 Impala TPMS reset, radio and headlight options DONT WORK

On a Chevy Impala or Monte Carlo with indirect TPMS, a totally different reset procedure is required. You can use the light switch or radio to reset the system. With the light switch procedure, turn the ignition on (engine off), the turn the light switch from OFF to parking lamps three times within five seconds. With the radio technique, turn the ignition on (engine off). With the radio off, hold the DISP button until “SETTINGS” is displayed. Use the SEEK button to scroll down the menu until you see “TIRE MON.” Press the PREV or NEXT buttons until “RESET” is displayed. Then press the DISP button again. You should hear a chime and see “DONE” to indicate the TPMS system has been successfully reset. Use the SEEK button to scroll through the menu until “DONE” is shown, then press DISP once more to exit from the learn mode.
