F3 on a GE / Hotpoint microwave means you have a shorted membrane keypad.
On this model, the membrane keypad is not available as a separate part, so you would have to order the control panel frame assembly which comes with a new keypad.

It's actually a pretty easy do it yourself job.

A video is available here showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

If you have any trouble getting the grille off once the screws are removed, slide the hood vent grille to the left about 1/4", then then pull it forward. On some models there are L-shaped clips that fit into a slot to hold bottom of the vent.

Next, disconnect the keypad strip as shown in the photo below, then remove the screws that hold your circuit board in the old frame.

Then carefully (since the display is made of glass) move your circuit board to the new frame, and reassembly is the reverse of disassembly.

The part number to order is WB07X11054 and you can get it from the Pros here.

Microwave won't turn on

Depending on the make helps determine the problem, if there is no power it is more than likely the fuse is open.

I have a new (2009) microwave GE JVM1750SM1SS and suddenly turn off. I turn off and back on the microwave main breaker. I checked the outlet and it has energy. I plugged in back the microwave but it...

If your appliance has absolutely no functions at all, remove it from the mains supply, remove the case and see where the mains lead goes in to the appliance and follow the cable until you find the main fuse.
ONLY USE THE SAME TYPE AND RATING OF FUSE TO REPLACE IT.
The usual cause of this fuse failure is the door switches are contaminated or sticking. Check the door switches before putting power back on to the appliance.
Hope this helps.

After a power - cut the Micro can not be switch on. What can we do? Type: GE JVM1750SM1SS

A mains "spike" has probably broken the fuse. Replace the internal fuse if you are qualified and competant to do so, otherwise get a repair person in to repair it.

Spacemaker beeping loud and f3 message driving us crazy

The error code F3 indicates an oven sensor problem. The oven sensor is most likely the failed part. The oven sensor probe must have the correct resistance readings at specific temperatures. When the electronic range control (ERC) cannot identify the correct resistance of the oven sensor or the resistance is way out of specs F3 will display.
I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your oven.

I have a new microwave oven Model JVM1750SM1SS. Does this model allow me to use seconds rather than minutes. For instance can I place a frozen dinner roll in the oven for twenty seconds?

It should. Normally to cook 20 seconds you would pres COOK TIME - 2 - 0 - START.

You can download your owner's manual free.
