26'' Insignia Startup Screen

I own a 26'' Insignia that is one year old. Upon startup I only get a white screen with snow. After 15 or 20 minutes I get a picture with sound. The ''Please Wait'' screen no longer appears at startup. Any help is appreciated!

This problem requires a service technician to check out you television for component failures on the power supply board and the main board. You have a failure in either drive voltage to power you video processor or a break down in the signal transferring components. It could be as simple as cold solder joints or a failure of capacitors in the signal processing circuits. They have a self healing components and will restore temporary operation for short periods of time. You could also have a failing video processor chip and chips that are being damaged everytime you turn your unit on.. These problems usually occurs from over heating going on inside you television. You need to get it checked out before it get worse. Here is the number for Insignia Customer service: 1-877-467-4289. Hope this helps you with your problem.

Insignia (ns-lcd26a) picture problems

ns-lcd26a
Hi,I fixed my here's issues i had and the fix i did..
ns-lcd26a
Every now and then i would get snow and a pink picture.
Then tv stop turning on .

To fix i seen on main board capacitor cp25 and cp28 near the heat sink was bad
They were both 470uf 35v...
on the power board i seen c531 47uf 50v was bad.
i also heated up the heat sink on the main board to resit the chip ,,
and tv now works

I didnt bother putting the huge shield back on main board i figure it was a issue to over heating the cpu instead take the hit to the brain from the fcc radio wave lol

First do the 3 caps and see if it works if not then do the blow dryer to the heat sink on main board

Plasma no picture, fades to black from startup logo

UPDATE:
I finally isolated the problem, the problem has to do with the Y SUSTAINER BOARD not receiving enough/necessary voltage when turned on, while initially thinking it was just the yboard was the problem, i replaced the Y sus board with no success, with only further diagnosis, i discovered the board voltages coming from the powersupply, there are 5 voltages that relate to the Y sustainer board, VA, VSC, VS, VE, VSET. they all supply a certain voltages that all have to be supply the correct voltage in order for the y sustainer board to be working, well guess what, the VA line, which for my set needs 70volts, which upon startup quickly drops from 75volts to a jumpy 8.5-9.5 volts, which of course is nowhere near the 70 volts needed, so this quick drop in voltage is directly related to the screen fade upon startup, i found the problem now the real problem is finding a replacement power supply. hope this helsp anyone with similar issues.
