Question about Home
When I tried to turn my jacuzzi tub off today it kept turning it's self back on until I turned it off. I finally had to have someone unplug it to stop it. What could be causing this?

This is a classic problem with tubs that have electronic controls. The only way to solve this is to get the information off the pump or the control box that the pump plugs into and find the replacement.
There are not too many different Mfg out there that make electronic controls so it should not be too hard to find.

SOURCE: My jacuzzi stopped turning on.
I would check all power to the tub. Is it plugged straight to a breaker, plugged into a GFCI, GFCI breaker in the master panel? For it to just stop altogether I would think something tripped.

The button is worn out. It should be a relatively inexpensive repair whether you do it yourself or have a technician drop by.

If it is a air button that pushes in and comes back up, there is a good chance that the switch (which is mounted on the pump/motor) is bad. If the switch is a touch button on a key pad, the problem is in the control box for the pump/motor.

Any time you get a strong smell of rotten eggs it is due to a high concentration of sulfer in the water. Are you on well water? I would suggest using a cleaner like http://www.sani-bath.com/ to clean out your system.

Testimonial: "Thank you so much....I didn't even know that had products like these. I am ordering as I type. By the way, we don't use a well, but I'm sure it will"
I called a plumber. He said push the button all the way in, put some 3 in 1 oil on the inside (you'll see a little indent) every couple of months. Also push and release the button quickly. Cost me $80, and he even used my oil!!!!
