The problem you're having sound like the drain tubing to the bucket is partially clogged. But, it is resolvable. Here's what you'll need to do.
Turn the unit OFF & unplug it from the wall. Remove the bucket and at the inside top of the bucket holder, you will see a hole or a tube that drains water into the bucket.
Using an 18" long plastic Zip Tie or something similar (NO wire coat hangers, though) that is appropriately sized to fit in the drain hole or tube. Carefully insert the Zip Tie and work it in, until you reach a bend in the tubing. You will need to gingerly work it past this bend, until it either bottoms out or your run out of usable Zip Tie. Then, slowly remove the Zip Tie while rotating (twisting) it. This will dislodge any clogs. Once you start nearing the end of the inserted tip, be prepared for some water to follow.
After completing the above, reinstall the bucket, making sure that it fits "squarely" from top to bottom into the bucket holder. The bottom should not tilt down at all. Plug the unit in, and turn ON the Master ON/OFF Switch. Lower the humidity extraction level to 32 -35%. If you don't have an LED screen on your control panel, set the manual control to Maximum.
One other thing that you want to do on a regular basis. That's remove and clean the air intake filter, if necessary. Be sure to turn the unit OFF and unplug it, before removing the filter.
