Why does my water container fill up even though my machine is plumbed in?

This looks like a fault. The plastic tank has two reed switches that measure 'tank empty' and 'tank half full'. When the tank is empty the inlet solenoids (there are 2 for safety) open and water enters the tank but not so much to fill the tank to the half way level. In normal operation the level water in the tank will drop and then more water is allowed in. In your case it appears the 'half full' reed switch is being activated because the solenoids are not closing off properly and water is leaking in and filling the tank. If you do not empty it then eventually it will fill and leak into the leak. The problem can be caused by either low water pressure (below 145 psi) or sticky solenoid. If is the solenoid then the Miele solution will be to replace both solenoids. Alternately you may be able to remove, take apart and clean. Also check that you have a mesh filter at connection to tap. Also you can temporarily fix the problem by turning off the water at the tap and re-programming machine to 'turn off' the plumed water line. regards

Why does my 04 caravan drink a lot of gas?

Your fuel sending unit in tank is bad,may be incorparated with fuel pump or by itself.Car isn't going to drink gas that fast unless leaking. If tank reads a half, fill up to see if it's really half empty, and if it is half full, then your driving a gas hog.

My gas tank leaks and i need to take the tank out to find it

Leaks when it's half full - could be a seam leak.

Gas guage no longer works when below half a tank.

You are probably looking at dropping the fuel tank down and removing the float and sending unit ( all in one unit). Once it's taken apart, you may see that you can fix it or you may have to replace it.

Fuel tank

Not really. If you can find the leak.Run the tank down till it's about half full.Take some sand paper and sand the area where the whole is.Then take you some JB Weld and repair it,I've did it with great success.I've not had a problem with it leaking but make sure you sand it really good and take some carbureator and choke spray and clean it after you finish sanding it.
