Hello,
Unplug the monitor from the computer and check if it runs the screen test. There should be a message that will be shown on the screen if your monitor is working good. If none, then you would need to get a new monitor for your computer.

Let me know if you have any questions.

No signal at the monitor indicates (if you know the monitor is working ok) a failure of the graphics chip or graphics card, The lack of indicator light on the num lock LED and the lack of power to the mouse would indicate that there is a major issue with the motherboard.
you can try using another monitor to confirm the problem lies with the graphics, and in the case of the keyboard and mouse, swap them for a usb version, if they work, the Ps2 ports are probably damaged.
I'd be thinking of replacing the motherboard

If the keyboard and is USB, you can try another USB port. For the monitor not getting display, I would try either a different monitor or a video card. Otherwise, the motherboard could be the problem.

Lcd montor not working help

Hi there,
Symptom : No images on the screen. I cannot turn on the monitor.

Checklist 1 : Is the power cord connecte properly.
Action : Check the power cord connection and supply.

Checklist 2 : Can you see "Check Signal Cable" on the screen ?
Action : (Connected using the D-sub cable)
Check the signal cable connection.

Checklist 3 : If the power is on, reboot the computer to see the initial screen (login screen), which can be seen.
Action : If the initial screen( the login screen) appears, boot the computer in the applicable mode (the safe mode for Windows ME/XP?2000) and then change the frequency of the video card.
Note : If the initial screen does not appear, contact the Service Center or your dealer.

Checklist 4 : Can you see "Not OPtimum Mode", "Recommended Mode 1440 X 900 60 Hz" on the screen.
Action : You can see this message when the signal from the video card exceeds the maximum resolution and frequency that the monitor can handle properly.
Adjust the maximum resolution and frequency that the monitor can handle properly.

Checklist 5 : There is no image on the screen. Is the power indicator on the monitor blinking at 1 second intervals ?
Action : The monitor is in Powersafe mode.
Press a key on the keyboard activate the monitor and restore the image on the screen.
If there is still no image on the screen, press the On button. Then press any key on the keyboard again to activate the monitor and restore the image on the screen.

Hope this helps.
Have a good day.

Monitor and keyboard won't turn on

A couple of things here:

1) The flashing light and signal message indicate that the monitor is functioning but is not receiving a signal from the computer.

2) The memory that you added is liklely to be incompatible with the computer itself and is preventing the system from booting. The computer will perform a selftest when powered on. Normally when there is a memory issue, the unit will beep. In some cases, there will be no action.

Remove the added memory and attempt to boot the system. If it starts up OK, then the memory you have added is the problem.

Update this if you require additional assistance.

Thanks,
Dan

Screen goes to sleep after "no signal" message

If you do not move the mouse or press any key on the keyboard it could be just going into video power save. Confirm it by moving the mouse or pressing a key on the keyboard. If the monitor comes back on, adjust the power settings in control panel and change the time for the "turn off display" to a more suitable setting.

Blank screen

When you say "When I turn on the computer the monitor acts like it is getting no power", do you mean the light on monitor doesn't come on or it does and it states it has "No Signal"? If it says no signal then it is receiving power just no signal from computer. What kind of connection is it? Digital(white) or analog(blue)? Is the keyboard wireless or is it PS/2?

If the keyboard isn't wireless and you're plugging the monitor in correctly I would say it's a power supply issue. Try changing the outlet you're using and/or bypass the surge protector to plug directly into wall.

No input signal!

Try disconnecting your keyboard and switching the computer on again and see if the monitor comes on properly. If it does you have your problem. Then power down and connect keyboard back up. If it doesnt work then you may have to change the keyboard.
