I also received ringtones through bluetooth and I don't knoww where they are located?!?!?!

It isn't Samsung's doing, it's Sprint. They force the manufacturers to disable certain abilities like using your mp3s as ringtones. That way they can rape you for the cost of a) buying the ringtone from them, and b) either making you buy the data plan or paying 3 cents per kb. For a 512 kb song (max filesize) you'll pay 15.36 in data rates alone.

If you want ringtones from your computer do this

ok download this program at

http://www.softforall.com/Multimedia/Video/WinXMedia_AVI_WMV_3GP_Converter07071310_download.htm

then get ringtones from zedge.com download em to your computer and press the 3gp converter and press the movie tape button and then browse for the song then click it then press the big red button then it will make it into a video and because of that u can make it ur ringtone. now put the song on ur phone by microcard or cable and put it on then disconnect then go to my albums and the file will have a red x on it. click it then play and click options thenpress assign then set it as video ringer or voice calls!!!

it help me thanks and plz rate me!!

I've never received ringtones via bluetooth, but I do know Samsung made it ridiculously hard to customize your ringtones on the Rant. The only way I know of to do it, other than going online on the phone and downloading ringtones there, is to use a site like Myxer to send the songs you want directly to your phone.

I cant connect to my bb8100 via bluetooth

first, u would have to go into the media folder of what u want to receive. for instance u want to receive a ringtone, go to media then ringtones. go under device memory and press the menu button. scroll down and u should see "receive using bluetooth". the phone that you're receiving from should already b sending the info and should connect. you can do that 4 pics, videos, ringtones, songs, etc.

Bluetooth ringtones not working on my rio they sent but wont play

There are often cases where certain phones do not support sounds received via bluetooth to be used as ringtones. That is most likely the case if you are unable to set the sound as a ringtone.

actually, it is not possible to download ringtones to a Rant from Myxer. You have to use a phone uploader with ringtones from your computer and send yourself a "jump code". Unfortunately, Cricket does not offer this option.

I downloaded a ringtone to me Samsung rant and it went to my playlist. How do I move it to "My stuff" to use it as a ringtone.

you can not. you need to use a phone uploader and upload a ringtone from your computer to the uploader and either send yourself the "jump code" or send it via SMS. if you use Sprint, go here: http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/

Cannot convert mp3 into ringtone for my samsung rant.. Been to various websites to convert but no luck... pls help

who is your service provider? you will need to send yourself what is called a "jump code" so you can download the ringtone after you upload it off of your computer to a phone uploader, or send it to yourself via SMS from the phone uploader. if your service provider is Sprint, go here: http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/

I have a sprint samsung rant cell ringtones

I'm your best bet so far. I'm good with computers. So heres the idea, you can set videos as ringtones but even though I changed the audio file to a WMV I couldn't figure out why it would't show up in the video folder. Solution, the phone films in a 3gp. So download a converter for WMV to 3gp's. put them in the J:\DCIM\100SSMED folder and dissconect. This idea is very promissing.
