What SATA cables do I need to hook upDevice? Have factory installed into my CyberPower Desk top a LG Multi BlueRay/DVD/CD

SATA devices do not have jumpers to configure as a slave/master.
You connect each SATA device to separate SATA connector on the motherboard.

How connect slave drive dell computer?

I assume you are trying to add a slave drive to a Dell DESKTOP? If so, is it an IDE drive (standard hard drive). To that you will find a jumper plug, usually beside where the cable plugs in but sometimes on the opposite side. The jumper options are usually listed on the drive but what you will need to do is place the jumper plug in the slave slot. You will also need to move the jumper plug on the original hard drive to the master slot. That always seems to work the best for me. However, you can try adding plugging the slave drive into the next open slot on the IDE cable, which is already plugged into the original hard drive. If you get lucky it may automatically recognize the new drive as the slave. You may need to setup/configure the BIOS to set the master and slave drives. To check BIOS setting, hold F2 or F10 when you turn on/boot the PC.

Why does the 4 outlets (surge only) of my cyberpower 685avr work while the 4 outlets with battery doesn't?

The battery only works when it isn't plugged into the wall. That's what a battery backup is for,so when the power goes out, the battery kicks in.

I have an emachine T5062 desktop. A friend of mine took an old hard drive out of another machine and added it to this machine. Now the desk top won't boot to windows - it keeps rebooting and sounds like...

You need to set the second hard drive up as the "SLAVE". There is a small jumper on the end of the hard drive where the power cable and data cable plug in. There should be a diagram showing where the jumper is placed to make it the SLAVE.
As far as figuring out which is which (MASTER .vs SLAVE), the MASTER is the last drive on the cable.
I hope this makes sense...

Good Luck.

I have an acer v229w and would like it to turn off when i power of my compu??

Just Google 'Green outlet strip power saver'
It is an outlet that you plug the PC into the 'Master' outlet, and you plug in your monitor, printer into the 'SLAVE' outlet. The Master outlet will sense the current draw (there is sensitivity adjustment) by the PC then it will turn on the Slave outlets, when PC is turned off, the slave will turn off also.

Turn off monitor

One way to do it is to use the switched outlet on the back of the PC to turn on and off the monitor, but most new PC's do not have this switched outlet any more.
Another way is to use these green outlet strip, the PC is attached to the master outlet, the monitor and anything else will be pluging into the slave outlets, When the master outlet senses the current draw (sensitivity is adjustable) from the PC, the slave outlets will be turn on.
