2000 sears craftsman garage door opener

I have rebuilt the unit, but the roiginal owner of the home did not eave the wiring diagram for the sensors and push button, I have a newer version but it has outlets for all 6 wires sears unit only has 3 they look like this 1 (red) 2 (NEC CL2) 3 (24 V)
I just need to know what wires go where. I do know that the 2 door sensor wires (4 split) are paired to give 2 lines and I assume that one goes to 2 and the other to 3 but am unsure of where the second line from the wall push opener goes

any ideas?

Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to the keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like and press enter.

Is there a univeral remote for craftsman garage door openers?

Depends on the age of the opener. The model number is on the end of the opener closest to the door. Using it go to Sears parts and you can find out if the remote is still available.

I have a Craftsman opener model 41A43157D. It

That is not the model number for your opener. The model number is on the opposite end of where you found that number. It starts with 139. and you should be able to down load a manual from Sears Parts or you can google owners manuals.

My wiring for my garage door opener is messed up at the sensors. i am looking for a diagram to show proper wire connections.

If you look at the wires from the sensors you will find one wire from each sensor is solid white and the other is white with a black tracer. The white wire from each sensor goes to terminal 2 on the back of the motor unit and the white wires with the black tracer goes to terminal 3.

Craftsman Garage Opener (Unit run front & back only for 2 second)

Double check to make sure the sensors are wired correctly. The 2 solid white wires go to terminal 2 and the wires with black stripes go to terminal 3. If the wiring is correct then you possibly have a bad RPM sensor. The RPM sensor is a small circuit board just in front of the motor.

Wring sensors

whites together under 2nd screw, grays together under 3rd screw. both indicator lights (normally LED's) on the eyes (1 each) must be lit in order to operate. this is the basic set-up...if you give me your model number from the opener, I should be able to find a owners/users manual for the unit
